Packing List

Packing List

 Please consider packing these items along with whatever else you believe you need:

  • Original passport
  • Lightweight long pants
  • Short and long-sleeved lightweight shirts
  • Shorts 
  • Bathing suit
  • Extra socks and underwear
  • Sandals or lightweight shoes
  • Wide-brim hat for sun protection
  • DEET-free insect repellent
  • Sun block SPF 15 or greater (waterproof)
  • Strong flashlight
  • Battery-run alarm clock
  • Binoculars
  • Camera and batteries (Please use recheargeable batteries or take spent batteries home with you to avoid contamination of the fragile rainforest environment.)
  • Personal hygiene items such as a toothbrush and paste (We ask that you please bring biodegradeable products when possible.)
  • Prescription medicines
  • Small daypack
  • Credit card (we only accept MasterCard and Visa)
  • There is 110 volt electricity from 6:00 to 10:00 PM every night. This can be used for an electric razor, hair dryer or charging batteries. Otherwise, bring a safety razor.

We provide rain ponchos, rubber boots, life jackets and walking sticks.

 

**Please do not take plastic water bottles into the jungle.  At the lodge you will be provided with a water bottle that you will be able to refill during your stay and then take with you when you leave.**
