Our Partners
A special thanks to the following organizations
who help Yachana reach its goals:
Rainforest Concern

helping in the purchase of our 4,300 acres (1,740
hectares) of rainforest. We continue to work closely
in conservation issues.

Trust - provided the funding to allow the
Yachana Foundation to begin the Amazon Culinary
Center to investigate the lost foods of the Amazon.
Quest Overseas - is a U.K.
organization who sends volunteers to Yachana for a
month at a time. Many of these are in their GAP year.
Others can have specific skills that can help us in
some way.
Global Vision International - GVI

of 12 - 18 volunteers at a time for up to 10 weeks to
work within our reserve doing data collection,
education and maintenance on the reserve. Through
them, a new species of frog was discovered on our
reserve in September 2006.
Rainforest Alliance - has been the
organization who has worked closely with us in the
process of getting our Smart Voyager certification
for best practices in tourism.

and they are the ones who worked with us closely in
the certification process.

also has their own foundation. This foundation has
